Roma, Italy - Day 5

Buon giorno!

The first of many gorgeous blue and hot days in Italy, we arrived last night at around 11pm, after our Ryan air flight was delayed about an hour, to our amazing hotel in the centre of Roma. Sleep was on the agenda. So to over come our hard start in Italy, we ventured out into the Wilderness that is Roma. First we checked out the Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps) which is just next to the hotel. P. di Spagna has some cute little shops in the main row, but just off to the side is Via delle Carrozze and Via Condotti which houses some of the worlds most famous Designers such as Versace, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Prada, Cartier, Rolex, Louis Vuitton and many more. Of course, we were all drooling like Crombie does over my sister but we window shopped the fuck out of them so thats a plus...

It was finally nice, after 4 months of being away from home, to enjoy a real coffee. I ended up having three today, one of which was at 11 pm tonight because they are so good. Now, I'm wired. After checking out some local tourist hot spots, we crawled over to the other side of the river away from the tourist traps, where apparently there are some trendy little local cellars that offer a cheap traditional lunch. Unfortunately we couldn't find any, as it was Sunday and no one opens on the Holy day or some shit. So no worries, we just headed over to the Trevi Fountain so some really picturesque photos together.

Roma has this thing with girls, they all seem to be absolutely gorgeous... It seems as though all the ugly ones head overseas somewhere, because Italians where i have travelled, never seem to be so amazingly good looking. Can we all just have a big group trip to Italy to find us all wives? I think so... I've already fallen in love on several (by several, i mean many times) occasions which makes me think, who do i know that can teach me Italian? Anyone? Please help here!? I am trying to speak as much as i know, but that goes about as far as what the Gelato signs say above each of the delicious icecreams...

On that note, I think my dreams will be full of naked Italian girls and beautiful buildings.

Ciao
